UCSL provides you with many online-based courses for an interactive learning experience. Online learning uses the advances in technology to provide a unique learning experience not easily replicated through traditional classroom instruction.
The programs were structured to reach students with varying learning styles. These courses offer an opportunity for Our online courses are available in two formats: eLearning courses and Blended classes.
eLearning courses are online-based classes that offer opportuinities for a more in-depth learning experience. These modules take the material covered in our primary classes and explains main topics in more detail. The courses are designed for all levels of expertise, and most qualify for continuing education credits. This makes them suitable for general information, precourse preparation, initial certification, or certification renewal. Our eLearning courses include:
- Acute Stroke Online
- Learn:® Rapid STEMI ID
- Learn:® Rhythm Adult
- Learn:® Rhythm Pediatric
- Nonvalvular Atrial Fibrillation
Blended classes consist of 3 components that must be successfully completed to obtain a course completion card.
Online courses are Part 1, teaching the cognitive components. Parts 2 and 3 can be completed by attending a Skills Session to receive hands-on training, practice, and testing.
Lessons are self paced, accessible 24/7, available for 24 months, and can be completed anywhere internet access is available. Simulations, dramatizations, and interactive activities are just a few of the tools utilized to provide this unique learning experience.
Additional features are available such as access to online manuals, exercises, and demonstrations. Printable reference materials are also included. Save time and money by utilizing the most up-to-date form of training.

- Heartsaver CPR/AED
- Heartsaver First Aid
- Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED
- BLS for Healthcare Providers
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Note: To obtain a course completion card, students must attend a skills session within 60 days of completing the online course.
